Hello,
I just renovated the website. I’m going to start posting more details about iSeismoemter. Version 1.2 is out there with wi-fi transmit function. I’ll post server side code here soon . Please wait for while.
Thank you

Hey! It goes on
Dear Sir or Madam,
Where is the tutorial on how to do wifi-based data transfer?
Thanks ahead.
Hello,
Thank you downloading iSeismometer. I put a tutorial here:
http://www.iseismometer.com/tutorial/how-to-transmit-signals-via-wi-fi/
I would like to how to transmit in Windows and some other environments.
Thank you

Greetings and hello, I think the Iseismograph app offers some potential in the area of investigations, corporate security, private, and public law enforcement.
If you are intersted in seeing how you might market this app to break into this somewhat exclusive market, I have a couple of ideas which may be worth listening to. Feel free to email me and we can begin a conversation. If you’re not interested there’s no harm done – I’ll pitch my proposal to another app builder.

Dear Kiichi,
Your iseismic Application is very useful. Is there a tutorial about the iseismometer, how to use the accelerometer values and how can i create the graph. And how it’s the frequency calculated?
Could you send me information’s about the iseismometer?
Thank you
It’s posts like this that keep me coming back and checking this site regularly, thanks for the info!
Interesting fact. thanks for the info!
I don’t seem to be able to download more than 2048 records. At 50 Hz, that only 41 seconds. Any chance the data files could be much larger?
Hi there – is there a way that the iSeismo app on Iphone works when the phone is not in use? i.e. I want to have the alarm on & go to sleep but of course the phone also goes to sleep within a minute of non-use. Thanks!
is it possible to save the data to the IPOD, such that it can be downloaded as a text file to be post processed on either PC or mac at a later time.
I have several other applications such as AJA PDF reader, and Doc’s to go, which have PC based servers that allow file transfer from the PC to the iPod. something similar would be great for this appication also
Hi!
I would like to use the iseismometer to investigate vibrating machinery. The area where this would offer big savings is rotary wing aircraft. There are a lot of homebuilt sport autogyros and helicopters around there. However, the owners cannot usually afford professional electronic rotor balancing equipment.
The iPhone could make the trick if tied or taped onto the non rotating rotor mast with an USB cable into the MacBook in the cabin. What is needed is a small program to control the iSeismometer application from MacBook and (if possible) to transmit vibration data onto the memory and screen. Some kind of rotor position sensor and an additional data channel would make the system perfect! How about that?

Thank you for creating and making iseismometer available for downloading. I consider it to be the best app on my iphone.
It really is the most versatile app I know of. Its uses are so varied and widespread. It really is a great app.
I want to address one of the post regarding practical use with machinery. Having once accidentally discovered that a vehicles timing can be fine tuned quickly, easily, and perfectly simply by using the app my backyard mechanic now swears that it is a “must have” tool in his garage.
It would be great if you had a vibration app for car wheel balancing. The user would hold the iphone against the steering wheel and slowly accelerate the car. the app would then rate the degree of wheel balancing and show a speed profile. It would really help when taking the car back to the tire store when they did only a so- so job of balancing my car’s tires
Thanks for this great app I too would like longer record times. I use to diagnose engine and machinery vibration. I have also used on suspension bridge during bad weather !!!
